Privacy
Eat By Season is a seasonal cooking guide, not a restaurant directory. We do not sell personal information, and we do not take a street address.
Region
“Set my region” stores a coarse region id in your browser so the calendar can match the band you picked. That is not a street address. If analytics is keyed, choosing a region can record that region name with the event.
Weekly list
The email form checks that an address looks like an email, then records that you asked. The address is not included in that event, it is not saved, and the weekly email is not sent yet.
Analytics
If a PostHog key is set, the site can record page views, recipe views, region choices, and newsletter asks. Without a key, those captures do not run. We do not attach an email address to an analytics profile.
Affiliate merchants
No affiliate links are live. If one ships later, leaving through it puts you on the merchant’s site, under that merchant’s privacy policy. See the affiliate disclosure.
What we do not do
No checkout. No sale of personal information. No restaurant listings, and no precise address.
